Response to what I saw on social media.
Yesterday I saw some information regarding the terrorist attack in New York City on Halloween. The article showed pictures of the area in New York the next day as everyone went back to work and their daily lives. There was a billboard with the word "fearlessness" on it. People were riding on trains, walking the streets, shopping, taking their children out in strollers, kids were playing in the playground, feeding pigeons. Living their lives. I think the photos showed how as a country we need to not let fear dictate our lives. That's what these people want. They want people to be afraid of going out. But as a country, we need to stick together and do what we have to do. It made me feel angry and disgusted that tragedies like these have been happening. But I think with strength we can overcome this evil and become stronger by it.

I agree, I feel we need to reflect and move forward. We as a people can't let terror stop who we are, we need to stand up to it!
